I got this little guy a few months back and it has surprisingly been a lot of fun. I got it used off ebay. Came with an upgrade motor and aluminum shocks. Here's what I got. Rear tires were bald, so I dug out the leftovers from my first RC. 1985 Nikko Turbo Aero. Snagged the rear tires and they actually fit. Then I got the idea to use Tamtech GT01(1/12 scale touring cars) longer chassis and suspension setup to extend the wheelbase and give it a unique look. I did a small write-up of that here. www.hyperminis.com/gt01-chassis-and-front-suspension-parts-swap-on-a-gb01-buggy-t376.htmlAnd this was the result. I'm trying to stick with the vintage theme, yes I know the street tires don't fit, haha. I have a brushless setup on the way which should wake up this little guy. I just don't understand why these little buggies never gained popularity in the US.
