The September 08 issue of Xtreme RC Cars has a one page thing on the new Slayer.
It is going to be an awesome truck. I would get one but where I live it is not a good idea to get a nitro.

...................................or maybe NOT go nitro That is sweet, its just unfortunate that Traxxas doesn't have a factory electric version, would sell for $300 and they would sell them 10 fold over the Slayer  To me $450 for the truck, then another $250+ to convert to electric is just not going to happen. |

Why isnt it a good idea to get a nitro??? There are two factors in the reason I don't have nitro. The first. I live in a mobile home park. When I had my T-MAXX, I would have people complain when I ran it. I even had some idiot complain when I started up in my shed, she said it was bothering her tv watching. Funny thing is I had my friend hold my T-MAXX one day when I had it running in my shed and I walked over to in front of her house, and I couldn't hear it. The second. Nitro is just too expensive nowadays and I do not have the money to afford it. |

even tho my slash is currently on the disabled list and awaiting a heart transplant, i would never get rid of it. its so fun and so tough.

sold my slash for a slayer and i love it! just how many slashes did you have? just the one.the only thing i did to it was install rc10 shocks and it worked at the track i go to. im gonna buy another one in a few months or so. |
