Sad news indeed  I had the honor of meeting him at a SCCA World Challenge race, at Sears Point back in the late 80's, when he was driving a Lotus. I was crewing for a Honda team at the time. He'll be missed for sure.... |

He'll be missed for sure.... Yeah, I met him at the SCCA Run-Offs way back when they were still being held at Road Atlanta. I got the impression he felt most in "his element" being at the track, walking around the pits unencumbered, and hanging out and bs-ing with racers. |

Its a shame, I have seen him race a couple times and have been past his house as he lives in CT.
I met him once at Limerock Raceway a couple years ago... he was racing a vette.
