Fred, Chris, and I were messing around at the track tonight and I decided to see how long the stock setup would last with a 3 cell in it, lol. Um, about 3 laps and then kaboom! Smoke and flames. And yes, it blew the ESC up. Motor and battery are fine. Video is on the way. ;D

well it lasted longer than I thought it would, on a track I wouldn't have expected much more than a lap

Video is on the way. ;D Yeah, I think the factory specs mention 7-cell NiMH acceptability - so going higher than that was asking for nothing but trouble...... ....... and smoke and flames.  ;D |
