I don't effin beleive it. I actually stripped the idler gear and diff. gear on my stock slash transmission. so much for steel gears being indestructable. This ever happen to anyone else?

Yeah I stripped the idler and main gear, but it was kinda my own fault, I had the slipper locked down cause I had it too loose and melted the nylon out of the nut. I didnt want to end the day so I just tightended it all the way, ended up shelling the trans. New gears on the way, I hate waiting...

I am running the Traxxas Velineon system on a 11.1v lipo pack, insane torque and speed. The truck has a tendency to flip over backwards on high speed runs, I am pretty sure it is because the large body of the Slash is catching air above 45mph or so...
When I run the 7.4v battery, it doesnt flip over at speed, but it is going alot slower, top speed is probably mid to upper 30's with the stock gearing...

I took my slash to the skate park i was bout to drop into the quatre pipe and then i got to much speed and jumped over it and when i was in the air i was going full throtle and when i hit the ground the gears stripped
