Wow! Very impressive, but I think comparing that truck to a 2wd (scale-ish) Slash CORR style short course race truck is kind of silly. The Slash pitches itself sideways, inside front wheel barely touching the ground, halfway between anarchy and chaos at any given moment - much more like a real truck - than a purpose built R/C race vehicle, the OFNA truck is cool but clearly no replacement for my beloved Slash.
Anyone can build something that beats a Slash on a very well groomed race course, given enough money and having that as its sole purpose. I have yet to see a company build something comparable to the Slash in the Smiles-per-Dollar category, or the nearly unbreakable-looks-alot-like-a-real-CORR or Trophy truck category. I will be more impressed when someone does that, true worth isn't always proven on a track lads.

Does the SC10 come as a kit or is it RTR? I still don't think the SC10 has the asthetics of the Slash nor does it seem to have the Slash's endless ability to absorb the abuse of the masses - a quick cruise through You Tube-land will prove that.
The SC10 strikes me more as a somewhat half-hearted attempt at grabbing some of the Slash's market share, it seems more like an R/C "stadium truck" with a CORR style body. Now don't get me wrong, stock for stock with drivers of equal skill behind the wheel, it looks like the SC10 will come out the winner - that's because they weren't trying to do what Traxxas did (build in the handling characteristics of a real truck) Associated wanted an R/C vehicle who's primary focus is to beat the Slash on the race track, a scale look or handling style wasn't their primary focus - beating the stock Slash was, like I said before, anyone can do that.
Therein lies where they failed, the focus of the Slash is FUN, stock it handles a little like a drunken sailor at 3am on shore leave, kind of swerving here and there, rolling from side to side, long travel stretching in a vain attempt to touch the ground as it power slides through a corner, or flies twenty feet into the air only to slam into the face of a skate park wall - only to flip back onto it's wheels and zoom off towards some other misadventure.
The Slash is built for strength, a scale-ish look, and primarily inexpensive fun. I stand by my statement that none of the other manufacturers have done what Traxxas has done with the Slash, although I would welcome the challenge.
I will now step off of my soap-box ;D

Answered my own dumb question about the SC10 coming as RTR, it does. Duh.
