I'd love to have a complete plastic-bar roll cage and body cut out to show it in the rear. Much like the Losi DT. That would up the realism even more. And of course more bodies, wheels and tires. The rest of the truck is pretty much perfect just the way it is

A little Birdy, wearing Orange and Blue, told me this past weeked at the Pro-line sponsored West Coast Crawler Challenge, that they have the ford and chevy bodies for the Slash coming out shortly. A Pro-Line Chevy body would be cool. I was going to design and cut my own Chevy-style grille and headlights for a clear Traxxas body, but I'd much rather have the real deal. What I'd like to see is a nice, heavy-duty adjustable diff. Either O-ring sealed to tune with fluid or a ball diff.

They have a ball diff that would fit. But I also would like to see a sealed unit like the Revo has, where you can adjust the fluid in it.

I know about the Traxxas ball diff, but have heard it's not a very heavy duty unit. I've never tried one, so I don't know from personal experience. I did try some of the diff-lock grease from badhorsie.com to slow the diff action down a bit. I may have to add some more as I can't tell much of a difference from stock.

I have used the OFNA Diff Lock Lube before in a T-Maxx, and you can tell when that stuff is in there. Its down right sticky. Wear rubber gloves when you handle it. Stuff is a pain to clean up.

Any word on when? I can't wait to get a FORD body.... And I'm going to go wih the CAC beadlocks So I'd lke to see some good tires, and a rollcage upgrade for the rear. And need to find some better shocks!!

Heck yeah that would be a sweet body too.
There's all sorts of shocks just fyi, they are the same as the rustler/pede. I like the Big Bores myself.

+1 on the Big Bores. I have them on my Nitro Sport right now and love em, but I think they will be switched out and put on the Slash.
