as much as i like the slash as is, i was disappointed when i first saw it. i wish traxxas had truly replicated the full size corr trucks and made the thing with a solid rear axle and 4-link suspension. i had actually drawn up a set of plans for something like this before the slash was even mentioned. using parts taken from my trusty tamiya tnx. it was gna be full tube frame with mad force rear axle and tnx front. only problem was finding a body that would fit... then the slash arrived, with the perfect size body. oh well, slash is still great fun and gives me some inspiration while i get back to designing my custom machine

That would be killer but it just wouldn't perform well, and would break if ya bashed it really hard!!!!!!

the idea was for more of a scale racer than a bmx track terror, so i agree it might break if i was doing 10ft high jumps like my savage used to. but im curious as to why you think it wouldnt perform well?

Well you have indy suspension all around like a car and where as your idea you'd have indy up front and a solid axle in the rear like a Z71 or something!! So basically it'd be like racing a CC-01 vs. a Stadium Truck or Truggy, basically they all have indy suspension alll around where as with your idea you got a front indy suspension that will give on the corners, but with that big solid axle in the back will not give as easy in the back so it would try and come off the ground easier than if the rear was indy suspension as well!!! Hope I wasn't to confusing!!

Thunder Tech is the one your thinking of.
Yeah Solid axle would be cool, but keep in mind, scale for scale these trucks whoop all over a solid axle CORR truck.
