I Have a slash and guess what.... I HATE IT
Breaks all of the time when I dont even do anything to it all motors get hot and blow up on me... Im using a 6 cell 3300 venom battery and everything else is stock ive gone through like 4 motors with it all of them stock... Ive been changing gears, and the gear mesh is perfect every time....
Ok so anyways im done with the slash and i was woundering if I should pickup one of these... Let me know,

The traxxas motors are junk, seriously.
Get a good roar legal stock motor and gear it for what your doing and it'll last. Run a 7 or 8 cell pack and drop 1 more tooth on your pinion

Yeah, I considered your idea Rob but ever since ive got it ive had problems left and right. so i figured if im getting a new motor in it i might as well go brushless. since ive had problems with the slash im basically done. Im considering getting one of these or a 1/16 E-Revo BL or the Slayer/slash 1/16 orrrr an sc10 but im leaning toward the E-Revo

What other problems have you had? It doesn't get any more simple then a Slash. The motor is about the only weak point.

i love my sc10. i sold my slash for gas money so i could go race my sc10!
