esc questions

when an esc says it has a 12 turn limit for the motor, does that mean that there can't be more, or less turns than 12?

also are there any esc's that you would recomend???

it means no less the 12 turns.

Tekin FXR is the ultimate brushed ESC with reverse. They have a brushless set up as well.
