OK IT ARRIVED TODAY, ONLY 47 DAYS AFTER I ORDERED IT, THEY SAID THEY HAD A ISSUE WITH THE VELCRO THAT'S WHY ITS RELEASE TOOK SO LONG. THE FIRST IMPRESSION THIS BODY IS VERY HEAVY, COMES WITH NORMAL PRO-LINE STICKER SHEET 2 PIECES OF VELCRO FOR THE BODY SIDES ( COMES IN ALL PRO-LINE SLASH BODIES) INSTRUCTION SHEET FOR CUTTING BODY PANELS ( REMOVABLE) AND A 36INCH PIECE OF VELCRO FOR THE REMOVABLE FENDERS . THIS BODY IS EASILY TWICE AS THICK AS THE NORMAL LEXAN BODY. THE REMOVABLE FENDERS HAVE TO BE CUT OFF THE BODY THEN TRIMMED TO FIT. THE FIRST 3 PICS ARE THE BODY RIGHT OUT OF PLASTIC. AFTER A HOUR AND A HALF AND TWO PAIR OF SCISSORS IT IS CUT OUT . MORE TO COME.

just finished painting up my desert rat carnage. i like the whole idea, just have a bit of an issue with wheel clearance in the front

Paint job looks good, just not sure how much I like the idea of a body that falls apart. It would probably be better if it was like the real trucks where you had a sweet tube chassis under the body panels, but with the Slash you just have open air.

yeah im right there with ya. and maybe if the peices didnt fall off the just flexed on a hinge or something

do the pieces stay on very well? is it like a snap insort of thing? i might buy one someday if i have some extra money laying around.

i think im going to sell it. my lhs will let me sell stuff on consignment. i wanted to see how well the body held up, so i just rolled it over a couple times by hand on carpet and the fenders just fly right off. i can see them getting wedged in between the main body and the wheel. i dont see them lasting as long as the main body section.

Yeah, I think it will be more of a pain then anything while running them.

I doubt it will sell too well.
