Well ill tell you this when i run 7 cells to keep it even with my friends i go threw 2 packs before the go threw one but i try to keep it at 12 cells at 14 cells i break trannys not to mention ends amounts of tearing the tires of the bead locs oh and remember my motor is a 550 motor. monster torque!

My friend has a vxl in his slash and it can haul ass. I myself like the velenion so i am going to upgrade soon. go vxl

I had a Sidewinder 5700 with a 7cell. Plenty of power and
speed for me, and certainly affordable. Just play with the gearing to keep the temp right. I haven't gotten in to lipos yet, still trying to keep some part of this hobby simple.

which cc motor will work best for racing? 4600 or the 5700?
i want something equivelant to a mod 19t

well i finally went brushless with mine yesterday! i went and picked up a vxl motor to match up with my mm esc i had in my crawlerand put them in my slash! lots more power than the 19t i had in my slash

i picked up the tekin power pack from amain. its too much for racing but if you need all out speed its good. its the 532 motor i think but i'm not sure of the kv rating,
