pics are great!!!!! Did you get the chance to race or just practice? Took mine to the track this weekend and stripped out the trans gears. I have given in and ordered a 21t motor. am trying to figure out a way to get a slipper clutch to work on it too. Love the pictures!

What turn motor were you running ? Did get to race a little ran against some t-4s finished 8th . Id do ok on the the straights and jumps but they'de kill me in the corners . Where they could pretty much stay wide open I had to coast into the corner and get on the throttle on the way out of the corner. But still everyone there was impressed with the truck

I was using the Reedy Radon 17t brushed motor. The speed and handling were good, but accelerating on landing from the jumps finally did the damage. It noses down off the jumps, so I need to stay on the throttle. I have a spec 27t to put in while I wait for the 21t motor. Glad that you were able to race. Mine did draw some attention, but got tired of explaining that it broke, so I put it away and raced the Slash that night.

Aside from the battery cable hanging down that truck looks cool.

I know there isn't much we can do about the weight, but what else can we do for the jumping? Sometimes it seems that the rear end kicks up too off the top of the jump because it compresses so much. will making the back stiffer help? I was thinking about some fuel tubing on the shock shafts to limit the travel anyway because the diff housing hits the radio box.

Why dont you give Darren a call at Thunder Tech . Sounds to me like you dont have the right shock set-up . The number is (815) 467-0621

I did call him, and first I will try changing my driving style by rolling off the throttle more and trying not to keep all the power stored in rear end, then maybe shock fluid, and then maybe weight in the back. we'll see what happens. thanks

Its going to take some time to get them all figured out. There's a million shock mounting/oil/spring combo's to try, and each track will require something different to be perfect. I am running a 2S Lipo in mine, so the weight will affect how it runs as well compared to running a 7 cell pack.
Looks like I am going to race mine tomorrow. Original plans were to race my Clod, but I broke it and can't get parts in time so Pro-2WD it is.

And rob i like your idea of adding some weights maybe use the weights all the crawler guys are using . howde ya do in the race
