Hey ya'll....
call me Ron, Z-man, but not Ishmael........lol
I have ran everything. Period. Planes, boats, heli's, on-road, off-road, anything and everything. From 60+ mph to crawling, nitro and EP.
i previously worked for a major r/c publication, have built many online builds, and organize and host a r/c event in Michigan.
I currently run a slash, T4, mini-t, M03 mini cooper, Axial AX10, Proboat, Blade CX, and a TT01 Drifter, affectionately known as Slidewayz.
I have been in the hobby 20+ yrs., and can usually tackle anything. I dont know everything, nor will i claim to, but try to help whenever, or wherever i can.
Ron

My name is Mike and I am recently re-introduced to RC. What a time to rejoin! My first hobby quality RC was a Tamiya Manta Ray QR (quick run I think) and I wore out tires after tires on that thing.
Currently I have in "the garage": Axial ax10 ARTR customized.... love it Losi micro baja. Lots of fun indoors, next up is a lipo. Traxxas slash. Brushless. Fast, durable.... looking forward to more fellas locally having these next summer and hopefully a weekly or bi weekly grudge match. Ofna mutilator truggy. Had a wheely king in the past. Lots of fun! Soon... maybe an Emaxx or savage?

Hi my name is Caden.
I basically saw an ad for the Slash on tv one day and thought I'd check it out and sure enough bought it the same day. I've had it for about a month now and about a week ago went with the Mamba Max 5700 and can honestly say it is the best thing i have bought for the truck.

I have been into rc's since I was a kid. My first one was a Tyco Typhoon hovercraft. Then I got a Tyco bandit and fell in love. I got my first hobby grade rc about 3 years ago. It was a Traxxas Rustler. Then I got into rock crawling and now I have 2 TLT based 1.9 scalers and a Tamiya Pajero. I also have a TC3 set up for drifting, a Hobbyzone Supercub, and a Blade CX. I am in the process of building a VMG/Leo-X based crawler as well. I really like the durability and price of Traxxas products so when I saw the slash I had to get one. Its also my first adventure into brushless. I hope to learn a lot on here and maybe contribute a little.

Hello and thanks for a great forum...very informative. I have been away from the hobby for about a year and a half and the Slash has revived my interest. In the past I raced quite a bit of Gas Truck and some Nitro Buggy and Truggy. The Slash just looked so realistic and so much fun I had to give it a try. Heres my new toy!! A new lid and paint scheme is on the way. Looking forward to some spec class racing. Hittman

I'm Jeremy, I've been in the Hobby for around 10 years. It all started when the original pro .15 tmaxx first came out and I just had to have one. Its all been downhill from there. I've had all the popular junk between now and then. Still have the original tmaxx I bought, it still has a running pro .15 although I run an OS .18 now. I have a Revo 3.3, Two Mutilator Truggies, an original Clodbuster, Two Slashes....one stock, one Brushless, a gas boat, a brushless boat, a Micro t, a 2.2 comp rock crawler that started life as an Axial...not much axial left though, working on a 1.9 scale rig, scrounging parts for a super class crawler, and soon to be a Losi 1/10 slider. Of coarse I'll have to have the brushless Erevo as soon as it comes out. And probably the new Kyosh Rock Force.....I could keep going and going. I'm always up for wheelin and dealin and always on the lookout for something new or different.

Brian here from FtSmith Arkansas. Had been a lurker for a bit and became a member not to long ago with a few posts after really digging for as much info on the Slash as I could. went to a few races and talked to a few Hobby shop guys and knew I needed to get myself and my sons into the Traxxas Slash. My little bro and his son are also getting into this as me and lil bro got out of the RC world to build our real cars and careers and now want back in to enjoy with our families.
I picked my Slash up today and began immediately making modifications. Right now I just got econo charger and a 6 cell pack so I can get the boys ready to drive. We ran a few charged packs through it and had some fun. In a few weeks will will be getting I know a few more trucks to at least have 4 going for now.
I plan on staying for a while, really cool site so far.
Brian

Hi guys. My name is Steve and I've enjoyed lurking on the site for a couple of weeks. Great site with tons of helpful information! Thank you.
I have to admit I'm mostly a Tamiya guy, since I've always enjoyed the building and modification process. Also, I'm not a racer really; I just enjoy running our RC in the backyard with my kids. However, the scale looks of the Slash (and the great price) and waterproof electronics have been tempting me. I'm currently trying to make up my mind on whether or not to take the plunge with the Slash.
Regardless of what decision I make, I'll continue to follow this great site.
Thanks again, Steve

Hey, Dogsbody here. Me and 6 others from our slot car club in Colorado bought Slashes at the same time. We're running them as a spec class amongst ourselves. These trucks are everything they say about them and more. I thought when I went nitro, no way would electric be of interest to me again. The Slash has plesantly proved me wrong.
