so how did you scam ThunderTech out of out of a kit? haha I didn't scam them out of a kit, the one they sent me was a prototype they ran at the I-Hobby show a few weeks ago so I could do a review on it till the regular kits are done. I have to send it back to them when I am done.

So far I like it. I did have a issue with a run away truck and broke the front bulkhead today. It was a hard hit into a solid object. (Someone turned on their radio on the same channel when I had the clip.... oh well) Got a whole 3 minutes of run time out of it so far, as I just got it going today.
I love the suspension on it, its very well done. there's some other details that need a little fine tuning though in my opinion. (like the battery holder, anything other then a 7 cell flat pack slides all around)

Rob try the foam trick i talked about in the other thread all it is basically is putting a foam block in the battery compartment to take up the slack im running 6 cell packs and it works great . Also for those of you who might still be waiting on the truck keep the faith the truck is well worth the wait

Yep going to do that. Also, going to line the chassis plates around the battery compartment with sliced fuel tubing so its anti rattle.
I will say I am impressed with how stable the truck is. Being that its not as wide as a Slash I was expecting it to be more tipsy.
Just too bad I didn't get more run time on it. I was planning on taking it to the track Saturday, will have to shoot for next weekend now.
