What is a good NiMH and LiPo charger?

I realize this is a very basic question however...

I am currently deployed to Kosovo and purchased a charger that came strictly with DC clamps. I thought that wasn't going to be too much of a problem until I managed to accidentally slice one of the cords leading to the clamps - long story short - we got the fire in the hummers battery box put out quickly and no one died. (my charger was unfortunately KIA)

So, needless to say I am in need of a good sub $100.00 charger with AC capability that will safely charge NiCad/MiMH/LiPo.

I can find plenty of models online but I don't want to shoot in the dark again. I beseech the wisdom of my R/C Elders on this, any suggestions?

Well with the $100 price tag that makes it a little more difficult, however go to hobbyking.com and look around at their chargers they have a lot of them pretty cheap! I have a Venom Pro Charger and love it but it is $140 at most sites!
